Cybersecurity Day

October 27, 2017

What is phishing? How can SQL injection affect you? How fast can a computer break your password?

Today, at both the Medford and Levittown campuses, all Computer Technician Networking Specialist students have a unique opportunity to participate in a full-day cybersecurity workshop. The workshop includes lectures and hands-on projects on cybersecurity threats, prominent case studies, prevention techniques, and career opportunities. Introduction to computer programming is also on the agenda.

Serge Baduk, BS, MS in Information Systems is the presenter and instructor. Mr. Baduk has 20 years of hands-on consulting experience in commercial client environments as a lead e-commerce architect and systems engineer. He is an expert in software development life cycle methodologies, a process for planning, creating, testing, and deploying an information system.

Mr. Baduk has designed and implemented IT solutions for leading organizations in the retail, banking, and entertainment industries. In addition, having spent many years sharing his experience in the field of information technology through teaching, he was instrumental in the development of Hunter’s Web Application Design and Development program.
