If any student has a complaint relating to Hunter Business School’s Title IV eligibility, administration of the Title IV programs, the quality of education received at Hunter Business School, or the accreditation standards of MSA-CESS, he/she can submit said complaint to

Graduates of the following Hunter Business School programs are prepared and eligible to sit for various certification and licensing examinations in their respective fields.

Certification exam are offered by the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA)

  • CompTIA A+ certification leading to an A+ credential

The Diagnostic Medical Sonography program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, 25400 U.S. Highway 19 North, Suite 158, Clearwater, FL 33763 (727.210.2350) upon the recommendation of the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

Registry exams are offered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).

  • Sonography Principles and Instrumentation (SPI) Registry Exam required for becoming registered in a recognized specialty
  • Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Registry Exam leading to the RDMS specialty credential
  • Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Registry Exam leading to the RDCS specialty credential

The Medical Assistant program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, 25400 U.S. Highway 19 North, Suite 158, Clearwater, FL 33763 (727.210.2350) upon the recommendation of the Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAERB).

Certification exams offered by the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)

  • Medical Assistant Exam leading to the NCMA credential
  • Phlebotomy Technician Certification Exam leading to the NCPT credential
  • ECG Technician Certification Exam leading to the NCET credential
  • Medical Office Assistant certification (NCMOA)

  • Insurance and Coding Specialist certification (NCICS)

Note that certification is not required to graduate from the Medical Billing Specialist program.

Licensing exam is offered by the New York State Education Department.

Licensing: National Council Licensing Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN) leading to a New York State license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Hybrid Radiologic Technology programThis program is approved by the New York State Education Department, Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision, and the New York State Department of Health. Graduates of the Radiologic Technology diploma program are eligible to sit for the exam given by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists® (ARRT). This examination satisfies New York State licensing requirements. JRCERT is the gold standard of accreditation for educational programs in the radiologic sciences.
